Hydrogen Refueling Station in the Facilities of NCSR “DEMOKRITOS”

MES ENERGY S.A. undertook the procurement, installation, commissioning and training of operators of a Hydrogen Refueling Station in the facilities of NCSR “DEMOKRITOS”. The cooperation of “DEMOKRITOS” with MES ENERGY S.A. aimed at the development of the first Hydrogen Refueling Station (HRS) in Greece, as well as at the subsequent demonstration of hydrogen-powered vehicles. The final product, i.e. the integrated system of production, storage, refueling and consumption of hydrogen, will consist of five main subsystems: a photovoltaic system for energy supply, a hydrogen production system using PEM electrolysis, a hydrogen storage system, a hydrogen refueling system and hydrogen-powered vehicles with hydrogen fuel cells.
