Mes Energy undertook the project “Preparation of the Municipal Emission Reduction Plan (ΜERP)” for the year 2024 on behalf of the Municipality of Heraklion, Crete. Within the framework of Collaborative Innovation Formations, a pilot Backup Hydrogen Supply System was developed by MES ENERGY S.A.. The system functions as an uninterrupted power supply capable of delivering electrical energy to loads using hydrogen as a fuel. Primarily intended for the building sector, it can also be applied in various other appliications, such as integrating with Renewable Energy Systems (e.g., Photovoltaic Systems). MES ENERGY S.A. undertook the supply and installation of 632 LED lighting fixtures in the Municipality of Distomo Arachova Antikyra. Specifically, 537 road-type luminaires and 95 traditional lantern-type fixtures will be strategically placed. The procurement also includes a remote management system with integrated “cloud” technology.
