On October 4-6 2021, the 2nd Annual World Hydrogen Congress was held at the PTA Congress Centre in Amsterdam. The Congress was attended by more than 200 speakers who play a leading role in the Hydrogen industry, covering its entire value chain. Speakers included policy and regulation makers concerning Hydrogen management, as well as Managing Directors and CTOs active in the field of Hydrogen technologies.

MES ENERGY S.A. executives also participated in the Congress, as Hydrogen technologies constitute a significant activity of the company. MES Energy S.A. is a pioneer in this field in Greece, having installed and commissioned the 1st Hydrogen refuelling station in the country, as well as hydrogen-powered vehicles with Hydrogen fuel cells. The World Hydrogen Congress took place at a critical time for the fast growing clean Hydrogen industry. Although Hydrogen is expected to play an important role in a fully decarbonized energy system, challenges remain to be resolved in order to achieve its complete commercialization. Through the participation in such Congresses, progress is accomplished in this direction.
